Re: Wordpress
WordPress is good for certain types of sites, for other types there exist other software that can do the job better. Security is not an issue as it's being worked on and updated all the time by the open source community. Features are easy to acquire with extra plug-ins, if you're looking for "cool" features I'm not sure what you're after.

Re: Wordpress
Wordpress, is as Doggie stated, good for certain types of sites.
But you should also check out Drupal. There are many CMS kits out there, or you can write it all from scratch.

Be faithful in small things because it is in them that your strength lies.
Re: Wordpress
yeah i didn't really make clear what i wanted to learn with the word cool:P.
well glorious and doggie, i know thats a basic something, but i am new and learning to the whole
internet website business. I am very lucky to be a intern at a company which has a boss
who is also owner of a other business which makes websites and all that stuff.
they make websites troughout Wordpress, because it's easy for company's to edit them
and add stuff without needing an it specialist to write some code for it.
also a good (i mean proffesionaly good) website can take up to 6 month's to build.
they do that to but thats in special cases and is indeed very expencive and takes a lot of manpower.
i would like to add social media plugins to my wordpress but thats quite the task because there aren't any widgets
in wordpress that include a interactive logo of lets say twitter, and if you clikc on it it links you trough.
