i play this server now for over a year and if i remember right the rankings has not be reset
i want to like to do a vote for resetting the ranks so that new players have more chance to get top 10

I'm personally not that bothered, but I know some people are and clearly want to have a go at getting into the top 10 again, so sure - why not!

Yea, other people played for 1 year to become number 10, so other players need to do that too.
Too bad the server is working with a points system, instead of a k/d ratio.

Before I do reset the rank there is one thing I could do that perhaps would make it easier to reach the top 10. I can make sure 4 players are online before ranking starts (this to make sure noone is just killing an AFK-player on the other team, for example). What I can't do, however, is to rank players after K/D ratio - it is impossible with the set-up I have right now.
Also, as we've discussed several times before the point of the ranking system is to attract loyal players who play a lot on the server - this can only be done by ranking people after score.

Another thing I can do to help clear up the stats a bit is removing inactive players (say, those who haven't connected in two weeks time or so). Would you like this?

If enough people say 'aye' to a stats reset I could perform one, yes.

The at least 4 players idea is good, just like in HLStatsX or smth. And removing inactive players is also a good idea.

to become number 10.. but if the forum want's it

I don't want to change anything except that you will remove inactive players and you can put on so the server need 4 players at least. Because for the first time I joined the server I felt like many new player how the hell am I going to get rank one when it's 30k points away. I got up to Top 10. Then My computer crashed went down to Rank 24 I think. Then I started to play again and now I'm Rank 1 with 58k points. And the day Evil took the Rank 1 from Wirus I said to my self I will be Rank 1 someday. And now I am. I ain't hard to get Rank 1 just play a lot. But If it resets I fell like I have spent over 300 hours to nothing.

well i am still against it, it will demotivate many
players, i am one of them and pung is one to.

but this isn't the way, i mean c'mon people work
like a year to get high, and then all that hard work will be blown
away in one reset, and if newbies wanne get in the top 10
then they must follow the ones who are in the top 10
and play hard and long, and not the fast way......
but i can say this, if this vote is passed i will stop playing,,,,
only when people ask me to come i will help them, but i am
not going to do all that hard work again....

I just like the idea with the minimum of 4 players
but i dont know why im just rank 20
i think the ranking system doesnt work very well it have make a mistake with my rank surely its 1 and not 20

ok doggie let the ranks that way i'm just to old for this sh*t i'm gonne reset my rank and just come on the server when they call me i wanted to let reset the ranks because it was no challenge to me
