hello,
i really wan't to know how do you make css vid's
i know how you do the record and the stop in steam, and stuff
like demoui. but how do you convert that vid's to avi?
i've tried a lot of tuturials but none of them work...
or tell me on this topic how you do it you're sellf?
like with a screen recorder or something?

Only way i know is using Fraps.

there are a lot of ways like thousands of gamecams you can download them on every corner^^
search for them by google and you ll find a lot of gratis cams

FRAPS (Y)!

Basically, there are two methods. One include generating thousands of pictures from the demo and then putting them together. This is a rather lengthy and complicated process, one which I won't go through.
The other method involves using a program like Fraps to record a video while you play. This concept can seem a bit confusing at first, it is however not so difficult to understand. You run Fraps before you start Counter-Strike, then you play your demo. Then you press the record-button on Fraps (you can choose which to use in the settings) and it will start recording an .avi-file in your documents. It will record everything you do on your screen, so you can use this to not only record from a demo but also directly when you play.

To add what Doggie has said, .avi's are absolutely massive though once you've recorded them with Fraps. I'd strongly recommend also using ffmpeg to encode them to .mp4 before manipulating them in something like Premier Elements or whatever. You will need a fairly fast multi-core PC, unless you don't mind waiting for videos to encode overnight.
