Well, cs promod is a sourcemod of Counter-Strike source.
it is like source, but they have changed the maps, the recoil, the hitboxes.. Everything to 1.6 style you can even shoot trough walls like in 1.6. The beta 1.04 will be out the 31st of january. More info on their site: http://cspromod.se/ (Swedish) or http://cspromod.com/ (English)

So they did find a way how to unite 1.6 players and cs source players. Well, let's see how the game will look when youtube gets some real gameplay videos more.
I've played 1.6 years ago and it sucked, buying the ammo separately etc. I'm not in it for the realism! I'm in it for fun !

i'd like to download that! seems pretty cool, if the graphics are gonna get better. But its not a official steam-game, so im not that sure about it . There are gameplay-videos on youtube, ewil apple .....

Yes, as Wikipedia says the game launched in 2008, so there are gameplay videos, but not gameplay videos for the upcoming version. I really hate when people add rock music to their gameplay videos.
