notebook error's.

Post by henk »

hello everybody:)
i have a question to the more technic fella's from this forum.
so i installed windows 7 on my notebook a while ago, and one week ago
i needed to do it again, and now i can't find the drivers anymore......
i really searched everywhere, i found some drivers on the sony site, but
they don't work all, only the audio and internet and thats cool but i want graphic card to..
and the second part, i want to turn down my brightness, (it saves battery wich is really handy
because i have to use my laptop like 4/5 hours a day without charging) but how do i do that?
and i don't have the option in windows, and my fn keys aren't working because i use windows 7...
now the inportant part my notebook:
sony vaio vgn-fs 285e. i tuned it up a little with other software
and more ram and stuff, and bought a new battery, so it's ideal for school.
hoping you all can help me..

I looked up which GPU is in your system: It's the Intel 915GM.
This will probably be the right file: http://www.nodevice.com/driver/915G_915 ... 45248.html

This is the graphic card.. And I don't know how to solve the brightness, perhaps at screen setting in configurations.
