uhm an 100 ghz is yet to come.....
and lolled if you have an 100 ghz then you don't need to buy one
for i think 100 year, looking at the fact that normal computers have like 2.5/2.6?
so 100 would be a little much..

Re: back
If we assume Evil's computer is the current benchmark for desktop computers, then according to Moore's Law his computer's performance will theoretically be surpassed 32 times after ten years. If you take into account that we're dealing with consumer-grade computers (and not the latest technology) as well as assume that the newest games aren't made for absolute top-of-the-line computers.. well.. we're still dealing with computers that are 5-10 times more powerful than his computer is at the moment. Which, in the end, means he won't be able to play the newest games.henk wrote:as a reaction to doggie
i think it's a smart investment, i think if nothings break's or explode's
the computer will not get old in a loooong time, in 10 years he still can play
the newest games on this thing
Sorry for all the text, I just felt like I had to prove a point .

Re: back
Normal computers should have 3,0 GHz CPU, and like Dual Core i think. That's average.henk wrote:uhm an 100 ghz is yet to come.....

But there are people who can make a 2,6 GHz CPU to almost 7,0 GHz with some kind of unique cooling system..
So yea, i don't think it will last a 100 years before we finally get 100 GHz..
