You say that, but tbh the Netherlands were really lucky they didn't get another red for De Jong's kick on Xabi Alonso. It looked like a really difficult match to referee, and although it's a shame the number of cards Graham Poll gave out, did he really have much choice?? I think Spain did outplay the Netherlands, as much as I would have liked them to win, and yes the Netherlands were unlucky not to get the free kick, but their players did seem to play a dirty game and Spain did seem superior throughout the match as a whole.
