I think it's all about how good you are and how good you want to be. The players that are hacking are often in a young age and new to the game and have a hard time playing because everyone else is so good compared to them. They want to become as good as the other players (and even better ofcourse) but the process will take a long time to get the skill that's needed.
That's where the cheats come in, afer activating them, suddenly they're the best on the whole server in such short time! And later they'll probably get perm banned and just realized what they've done. So it's all about the skill they want to have, just like in sports where some athleits take steroids to become better.

yeah i think you're rite froutbowl, but something
they often forget it the fact that you play css cs mw mw 2
or every online game for fun.... and when you get obsessed with
winning of even addicted and so hard that you have to use hacks to get
that "kick" you would be better of playing bomberman or something...
i dont say it's not kickass to beat someone that's the best, i'm saying
let's just keep it a game.

I agree with you henk. There are even servers where the player with the best hack wins. Sounds kind of funny to watch
