I say Google Chrome, too. When the extensions- and plug-in-feature goes out of beta it will blow Firefox out of the way imho.

Re: Best internet browser
The topic is called 'Best Browser.." not fastest..
Chrome is just fast because its so basic..
Firefox has many more add-ons available that chrome, but that is probably changing..
I use firefox myself because it looks nice.. and I used to play a game that came with a firefox add-on to ease up the overview.. So thats why I prefer firefox.

Re: Best internet browser
Opera: It looks nice, its far the best looking. Firefox is faster, but not much. Opera doesnt have that much add-ons, but u can customize pretty damn much
And, you can block ads really easy! ads: not anymore
and btw: the fastest is actually Safari.
Opera: Looks nicest
Google: Basic but good
Firefox: Fast and tons of add-ons
Safari: Fastest
Explorer: SUCKS

I've been a Firefox user for most of my active Internet life and I'm satisfied.

Re: Best internet browser
Yes, but it looked shitty. I've gotten too much familiar with Firefox.
Re: Best internet browser
As a webmaster myself I have to use all the major browsers to make sure the site I run is compatible. I personally prefer Firefox for its regular updates and excellent addons/community - but Chrome is fast, Safari also is very standards-compliant and renders things well... and compared to IE6/7, IE8 is actually pretty good (but still ranks as my least favourite browser).

Re: Best internet browser
Whatever you say, the truth stays - WebKit-based browsers (Safari, Chrome) are essentially the way to go. Firefox's own rendering engine will never keep up with new standards whilst WebKit, developed by third parties, will be able to maintain the grip it has on web-standards.
