I'm about half-way through the game now, the only fun I've had yet is when I was able to control the UAV drone (Predator).

To be honest, just randomly running around and shooting criminal Brazilians is not that fun at all. The thing that made COD4 such a great single-player game was, in my opinion, the vast array of extra technology you were able to control - it added to the variety of the game and made it more than just running around shooting people.

But doggie,

Online you have like 15 different game types.
Free-for-all is nice but Ground War is also lovely <3
You have this controlpoint you have to defend and the enemy spawns everywhere.

In citymaps it's lovely because you take in a position across the street up on a building and then just wait.

I also find the way of dieing more realistic.
The balance between dieing and the amount of bullets you need seems ok.
Headshot = instand dead.

Not like in BF2 where you have to shoot 7 times :P

Yeah, death animations were excellent! Doggie, I also started to get annoyed during that slum mission, where there were millions of brazilians to kill! That was way too weird.

This game is pretty awesome, though, I found the dedicated servers and lag quite annoying because
your lucky if you find a good connection server near your location, I found the storyline really great.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is a disgrace to PC-gaming. The only thing I find good about the game is the single-player. The multi-player is too laggy because of their new, big, expensive, unnecessary hosting system IWnet. Where did the dedicated servers, mods, all the settings and latency value go?

[Small CoD4 - MW2 comparison]

I wouldn't call Modern Warfare 2 a Call of Duty game. I really hope Battlefield Bad Company 2 will be better than MW2.

Quake, let me give you an advice... GET DA BETTER CONNECTION and stop whining! This is 1 of the best First-person Action game of this year, true, cant say game of all-time, but atleast game of the year srsly. and, you saying its laggy? llooll. put your NAT to Open so there is 60% change you are the host so there is no lags except if u r DL porn etc.

Perhaps that is a solution, but the whole idea of not having an admin to kick/ban hackers etc. - you have to admit it is utterly... well... retarded? I don't see the logic or reasoning behind it.

Ye, I know anti-cheater system suck... what was it? cant remember, but anyway from a thing to another, MP is awesome, srsly! It is probably pretty boring when you play alone, but when you have 5-8man group, game is DAMN good! Its funny to play clan-maches when you know we`r gonna win.

I think the campaign is alright. People don't buy it for the SP but for the MP. I bought it for €35!
The MP is sooo cool, I really recommend it to all of you guys around here.
