ranking system

I know that "rank" aint working very well. But could there maybe be another ranking system?
Not 3 points each kill? Because there you really cant see who is a very good player and who aint. The thing you can see there is "how long does that player plays on this server"
How longer you play how higher you are on the ranking system.

Well, that is true, that most of top 10 players have played on the server the most.

The underlying reason for having a ranking system is to promote players to stay loyal with the server and keep playing. This can only be achieved by ranking players the way we currently do - unfortunately this can be seen as a barrier for new players, but on the other hand that sort of is the point. Keep playing and you will eventually reach the top - that's how it is today and that's how it will stay.

i think it's a good system, it motivates me
to play some times when i have some spare time to
achieve a rank higher.

im on rank 30 actually
i like the rank system on my favourite clan server we ve got another rank system where you can lost points and you get more points for better opponents and a higher kd this shows your skill more but i cant play at ease when i know that i ruinate my rank at this time

@Qattro: you are probably talking about GE-servers? But here you really can see who's the best, i play there also. I hate it when there are low rankers, 1 kill and you've got -25 points
Idc about that, it's a game you must have fun!!!
So you must get better and better so the low rankers can't kill you
