This. Call of Duty sucks; it was good once, they've become lazy. They could do much better with the money they earn but they won't even bother to upgrade their engine. Funny.

If you're happy with 1.6, then that's fine - no one is forcing you to change. However, if you look at Valve's other recent releases I'm pretty sure GO will turn out to be a fantastic game with a huge community too. Read some reviews when it's out, but refusing to buy it before it's even released seems silly to me.

I'll check it out, but I surely won't buy it when it's €60. They could piss off then.

Maybe it's silly yeah but what I and many other 1.6 players want is that GO won't change anything considering our game such as tournaments, loss of players etc. I've heard that GO will take over 1.6 at Dreamhack 2012 but I haven't found a source yet to confirm it though.

Just got it and played a bit. Epic! But still needs some repairs to be done in order to be excellent for release.

I has it too, and I agree with Apple. The lag can be very annoying.
The general aiming is a lot different than Source, when I started playing I killed no one, luckily I pwn now :P

Good game indeed. I haven't noticed like any lag at all. Everything runs smooth for me, and has been since I got it a few months ago. :D

Only problem I ever had was the scoreboard not showing for me, lol.

Lag issues are frequent. Just epic lags for no obvious reasons. And those weird freezes while changing the map.

Really enjoying it, though the graphics aren't as groundbreaking as I thought they might be. Still, with everything maxed out it does push my GPU quite hard, especially with full AA on.

Hitboxes are more accurate than I expected and I haven't noticed many lag issues with the servers I've been on. Generally very impressed and looking forward to more updates.

I read somewhere this to be priced at 15 euros. This might be wrong though because this can be considered as way too cheap.

I never submitted my hardware details and filled out the survey until now -- had no idea there even was a beta out there! Thanks for reminding me :D ! I've also heard it'll be priced at €15, but I'm not sure if it's merely a rumor or not!

You have got to try it, Doggie :-) ! It's like riding a bike for the very first time or playing CS: Source for the first time or like touching your friends mother. It feels so right, but there are still some problems with it.
