Yes, I would like it! Something new (even if it's ****) is sometimes handy! Maybe it will turn out to be a great thing and someday we will sit back and think what a lovely choice you made by adding new maps, Doggie! Let's try out some of what you picked out :P!

I have added breakfloor_zero_v2 to the rotation - let's see how it works out!

Doggie, serius, you should try breakwall_2 or then is breakwall2 - I used to play it in old days allways many players at the server, but i cant find any servers with the map, so maybe we should get it :)

So, now I've been talking to a bunch of people and I've been getting different views. Some people like the glass in between and the fact you can shoot through it, but more people don't. People are trying to "rtv" and ask the admins to change map when this map comes on.
I think this map fails without spawnprotection, otherwise it's good, nice darker theme and that classic breakfloor feeling.

I'm noticing that too - I shall remove this map and try another one soon!

I think we tried it a longgg time ago - we had the same issues then as we are now. I like the change, but I'm not a fan of the glass in the middle. I'll look out for zero_v2!

Glass in the middle, no way of shooting through, but U can see if someone camps. The main theme is like breakfloor but with a little bit changed textures and stuff. Well, it still seems nice for me.

from your disciption i like the on with the glass the most,
only you can see where the enemy goes so you can go to the same place...
and i think its a trench magnet.
but i like the tactical and zero the most.
(based on your discription:))
and i stand 100 proc behind the whole adding mapps idea:D

Generally, I'd say maps with glass are not a viable option since this causes trenching, as Henk suggested. You see where your enemy goes and thus you watch out for him - leading to nobody willing to jump down.

I tried the two maps you suggested, Ewil - these are my experiences.
breakfloor_tactical
Again, this is a glass map - you can see exactly where your enemies are and there is really no incentive to try to attack (as they will see where you are and camp you out from above). This map, in my opinion, will cause trenching and camping. Not a viable option.
breakfloor_texture_cube
A fun map for ten players maximum. This map also lacks enough spawnpoints to suit our server - a definite no. Apart from that, it will most likely cause camping between the thick glass layer in the middle almost all the way down - a horrible scenario. The only positive thing with this map is the inability to TK someone - a big plus :D !


Keep submitting maps, people, perhaps there still is a map out there that suits us!

Thanks for trying them out, Doggie! Have You ever thought of going only with one map (like only the usual breakfloor) or smth like that?
